A Message From Wendy Mims

Throughout my career, I have envisioned creating a space where I could personally assist individuals in finding their perfect pair of glasses. I have found that I offer a unique and special service to patients, many of whom have become loyal customers. However, after spending numerous years working for others, I recognized that my passion and energy were not suited for an office environment where I had limited control.

This realization led me to believe that 2024 was the ideal time to embark on my venture. I thoroughly enjoy introducing individuals to new frame styles and taking the time to understand each client personally. There is an undeniable satisfaction in being able to anticipate what will work best for someone.

Mims Optics was established to provide a safe and inclusive space for all eyewear enthusiasts, including those who may not have previously been enthusiastic about their glasses. I take great pride in introducing my clients to independent brands that I wholeheartedly endorse, brands that are not widely available elsewhere. I am eager to guide you through the world of authentic craftsmanship and assist you in developing a fondness for your eyewear.
